This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application MGC CCTV Calculator (package name: com.mgctech.cctv_calculator) distributed via the Google Play Store, as well as its official web portal at http://cctv.mgctech.in/.

2. Information Collection and Processing

We adhere strictly to the principle of data minimization:

• No User Account Required: You do not need to register, sign in with email, or connect social media profiles to use the app.
• No Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect or record your name, home or business address, contact numbers, email addresses, or payment card information.
• No Device Fingerprinting or Tracking: The application does not collect Advertising IDs (AAID), MAC addresses, IMEI numbers, or international mobile subscriber identities.
• No Location Data: We do not request, access, or track GPS, cellular network, or Wi-Fi location.
• No Camera Feeds or Video Recording: The app is an analytical calculator and optical planner. It does NOT interface with live camera streams, NVR logins, or video feeds.

3. Device Permissions & Purpose

To deliver its features, the application requests the following operating system permissions only:

• Storage / Write to External Storage (Media & Files): Used exclusively when you choose to export a project summary or quotation as a PDF document. The app writes the generated PDF file directly to your device's local storage (such as the /Downloads or /Documents directory) so that you can view, print, or share it through your installed messaging or email applications.

4. Local Data Retention

Any saved project names, camera lists, focal lengths, or hardware configurations are saved entirely in your device's private application storage (using SQLite or local shared preferences). This information never leaves your device. If you clear the app's cache or uninstall the application, all locally saved data is immediately and permanently erased.

5. Third-Party Libraries and Advertisements

The MGC CCTV Calculator app does NOT include third-party advertising SDKs (such as AdMob, Unity, AppLovin) and does NOT sell, rent, or trade user data to any commercial broker or analytical network.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take immediate action.

7. Security

We value your trust. Because no user data is sent over the internet or retained on external databases, your project data is protected from cloud-based data breaches. You are responsible for maintaining the physical and digital security of your personal device.
